Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Quantitative Research Associate. This individual will support the US Research and Learning Agenda to generate evidence that will be impactful in helping Habitat for Humanity prove and improve their impact on partner families and communities in the US. The Quantitative Research Associate will work with the US Research and Measurement team members to assist in research design, implementation, and analysis of projects that answer research questions from the US Research and Learning Agenda, enabling Habitat to maximize affordable and safe housing opportunities for partner families. This role will support learning and development efforts to assist affiliates, Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) staff, and external stakeholders to put findings into action.
This position will be remotely based in the US.

Analysis (70%)
- Contribute to design, planning, and implementation of research studies and surveys, including the collection, cleaning, validating, and analysis of primary and secondary data
- Review and summarize literature on topics relevant to Habitat’s mission, including affordable housing and community development
- Review and synthesize information and data into recommendations, presentations, and key issues
- Assist in reporting research findings for knowledge products, not limited to soliciting stakeholder feedback, producing tables, graphics, and other data visualization elements for reports, as well as writing up findings for briefs, papers, and/or presentations
Engagement and Coordination (30%)
- Facilitate evidence-based learning across the network
- Manage concurrent projects or tasks including timeline management and technical work
- Recruit affiliates to participate in active research projects and coordinate affiliate relationship management with other parts of HFHI to ensure a high-quality affiliate experience
- Assist in managing external consultants, volunteer analysts, and advisory team(s)
- Communicate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, not limited to affiliates, Affiliate Support Organizations (ASOs), HFHI staff, and research partners
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s with 3 years of housing research
- Master’s in related field, plus 2 years of any research experience, not necessarily housing
- Quantitative research experience with statistical software
- Demonstrated strong experience in a research environment and participating in evaluations
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in report-writing and other technical writing
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and in team environments; strong ability to collaborate across areas of expertise
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to write clear and concise documents that are accessible to stakeholders with various levels of technical expertise
- Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- Strong interest in equitable housing and community development
