The purpose of this position is to attend to client and visitor needs and requests. The Receptionist works closely with Security and Management to ensure only authorized individuals are allowed on-site. The Receptionist will represent the SIS and client brand to any visitors of the facility, whether in person or over the phone or any other medium of communication.

In this role, you will:


  • Greet all employees and visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to the client, it’s associates and facility personnel
  • Answer phone calls and ensure that all calls are directed properly
  • Generate and issue badges for all visitors to the site and assist when needed for any employee badge issues
  • Ensure all personnel entering the site have proper ID and authorization
  • Create and document incident reports
  • Monitor camera’s as needed
  • Assist with various administrative duties as needed
  • Providing leadership and direction in emergencies and assisting emergency personnel in times of crisis

The ideal candidate:


  • Must complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certifications
  • Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Excellent phone etiquette and people skills
  • Previous experience in customer service or in an admin/receptionist position is highly desirable
  • Experience in a corporate business environment
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality are essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
