Simpsonis looking for a Regional Director of Sales to join our dynamic and seasoned team. The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for the overall competitive positioning of the Simpson brand communications and recognition. In this position the Regional Director of Sales will be a strategic leader focusing on pricing, sales incentive management, assisting the Director of Operation with marketing, and public relations.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for sales performance and occupancy forecast. Ensure that brand identity, messaging, marketing, and communications strategy are infused in all sales efforts.
· Coach, mentor, and develop our sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly and year goals
· Working closely with the sales team in each of the 3 communities to develop and implement long term community sales and assist with marketing plan, in conjunction with CFO and CEO.
· Oversee the daily activities of the Sales and Marketing team in our 3 communities, prepare and submit sales and marketing reports as required.
· Conduct and coordinate lead management, including maintenance of the lead database, telemarketing, sales presentations, site tours and home visits creating a continuous pipeline of prospective residents.
· Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
· Compile data on competitive products and pricing and report it CFO and CEO, maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings
· Effective knowledge of competitor Long Term Care players, products / provisions, and overall philosophy with the ability to leverage our competencies to further support profitability and sales objectives
· Monitor and report key activity monthly to CEO to include 1) Count of leads 2) Count of tours 3) Sales 4) Conversion ratio 5) Causal reasons questions a) why not Simpson? and b) Why not now?
· Arrange and direct public relations, marketing events and advertising in accordance with the marketing plan.
· Address civic, business and service organizations, representing the Community to the highest standard
· Develop, operate, and manage departmental budget within budget guidelines.
· Review Marketing Data to determine applicable trends
· Work with marketing firm to develop compelling branding strategy that supports strategic goals of Simpson.
· Develop and maintain open communication with other Department Heads and personnel to create the attitude and environment of a team effort.
· Work closely with community departments to ensure smooth transition of apartment turnover process and resident move in /out process.
· Create and maintain marketing process and policies for communities.
· Conduct ongoing mystery shops with third party company to ensure quality control.
· Create and implement training for sales staff
· Communicate regularly with Executive Directors to discuss the performance of the Sales teams at each respective community. Identify opportunities to grow, mentor and/or promote the Sales Directors.
· Demonstrate flexibility in schedule by consistently traveling to properties to provide support as needed.
