Hiring MEP/Structural Designers

ARCXIS (formerly DPIS Engineering, LLC.) is full-service engineering and third-party inspection service in the residential industry providing services to mostly single and multi-family homebuilders nationwide with a presence in 16 states across the US. The Company is looking for a full-time MEP Designer to add to the team. We are looking for an ambitious candidate that is fluent in AutoCAD and has the ability to produce designs and details for residential buildings under tight time constraints. Experience working with residential mechanicals and residential HVAC design, electrical design, plumbing design or structural design is required. An ideal candidate needs to be very reliable, hardworking, and a self-starter that enjoys a challenge. You would be joining an energetic team environment in our growing Houston office with potential for development and growth.

Compensation will be determined based on experience.

Specialized Experience Needed:

• Prepare residential design documents using AutoCAD and/or Wrightsoft
• Ability to read and interpret residential architectural blueprints
• Familiarity in building codes a plus

Requirements:

• Understanding of residential MEP or structural design requirements
• Strong writing/grammar skills
• Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Architects, Builders, and Owners
• Demonstrated strong organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to pass background check
• Eligible to work in the United States

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
