Job description
Berkshire Humane Society’s Catwalk Boutique is searching for a part-time Sales Associate at our Lenox and/or Great Barrington location(s). Previous retail experience is preferred. Hours are flexible and variable and available work opportunities may increase with expanded summer hours.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and polite manner
- Answering customers’ questions and requests in store and on the phone
- Managing financial transactions through POS system
- Helping with inventory, including receiving, steaming, pricing and stocking merchandise
- Cleaning and maintaining store appearance
- Maintaining knowledge of ongoing promotions and explaining them to customers
- Contributing to team’s daily sales goal
Catwalk Boutique operates under the guidance of Berkshire Humane Society. The store’s mission is to help financially sustain the animal shelter. As such, periodic attendance at Berkshire Humane Society meetings or events may be encouraged or required. Berkshire Humane Society is an equal opportunity employer.
