Position Summary
The Analyst, Sales Operations position is responsible for: data management, OPCO/Divisions and account specific scorecard reporting, syndicated reports, activity analysis, post event analysis, and support of top-to-top engagements.
Responsibilities:
Support Sales Operation Sr. Manager and Sales Operations Management team:
- Support the Sr. Manager in key requirements across entire operations team.
- Utilize key tools from the Data and Reporting Team (EnableHub)to support 4P objectives.
- Work closely with the Sr. Manager to conduct Nestlé Retail Services activity analysis, build key Field, Account, or Division presentations, and other operational activities.
- Work in conjunction with the Data and Reporting Team (EnableHub) to translate the business needs into reports/analytical needs for the customer to create volume driving and share winning plans.
Support Sales Operations Managers (SOM) in Driving Retail Growth for OPCOs/Divisions and with Accounts:
- Assist SOMs in the fundamental sales and activity processes that drive retail growth and achieve annual account and division targets.
- Utilize key tools from the Data and Reporting Team (EnableHub) to support 4P objectives.
- Work closely with the SOMs in the development of category driving business plans such as monthly/quarterly business presentations, 4P focused initiatives, and other stakeholder presentations.
- Where appropriate, support the SOMs in presenting, activity management and data input into Nestlé business management systems. Other tasks include distribution tracking, promotional analysis, and field engagement.
Division/OPCO Strategy –
- Work with the Enable Hub for standardized reports, insights on the business, and category growth driving opportunities in support of the SOMs and Sr. Manager for Sales Operations -
- Manage internal Nestlé Retail Services business performance
- Partner with cross-functional support teams, Deployment and the Data and Reporting Team (EnableHub), to transform activity data and 4P analytics into actionable OPCO/Divisional insights
Account Strategy -
- Customer team specific work utilizing the tools and resources in the Data and Reporting Team. Work could include data management, customer specific scorecard reporting, competitive analysis, post event analysis, support of top-to-top engagements
- Responsible for timely and effective communication of customer/category information
Win at Retail -
- Support the creation of customer wide retail execution plans and the communication to Nestlé Retail Sales
- Participate in the development of Customer Category Business Plan(s) with customer(s). Work with customer personnel to drive the execution of the customer category plan
- Pull, analyze, and help communicate weekly and comprehensive results for NRS contests and initiatives

- Expert for the Sales Operations team on the Data and Reporting Team tools and New Ways of Working
- Manages ad-hoc analysis / requests interactions with the Data and Reporting Team
- Collaborate with other stakeholders on key projects
- Actively ensure effective communication with all stakeholders across all NSO pillars
Qualifications:
- A University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the sales fundamentals
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, strong judgement in decision making, good problem-solving skills, thinks strategically, and a customer service orientation
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, strong presentation skills
- Time Management Skills
- Doesn’t hesitate to act and takes the initiative to execute with minimal supervision
- Challenges current processes, generating innovative suggestions that improve performance
- Takes immediate action to resolve issues or potential issues, ensuring stakeholders are properly communicated to about the potential impact
