Wish You Well is a small, socially conscious bakery in downtown Lancaster serving bagels, baked goods, and sandwiches. We offer $15 per hour, free shift meals, and an employee discount.

Sandwich Maker

Part-time, 7:30am - 3pm *weekend availability is required

As a Prep Cook at Wish You Well, your job is to:

• Maintain sandwich station inventory according to established pars
• Prepare sandwich components according to established recipes
• Operate the deli slicer to slice bacon, cheese, and bagel chips
• Operate the mixer to prepare whipped and flavored cream cheeses
• Accurately scale out portions deli meats, smoked salmon, bagel chips, and schmears
• Prepare and bottle shakes and juices
• Prepare soups, sides, and other savory menu items
• Maintain station cleanliness and assist with dish-washing and other cleanup as needed
• Review weekly ordering needs with management

As a Sandwich Maker at Wish You Well, your job is to:

• Assemble sandwiches to order
• Make sure that each order is prepared quickly and accurately
• Assist with counter service and ringing up customers as needed
• Keep station stocked and assist with station prep as needed
• Maintain station cleanliness and assist with other cleanup as needed

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience is strongly preferred
• Culinary training preferred
• Customer service experience is a plus
• ServSafe Certification is a plus, and an understanding of food safety and sanitation is required
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must 18 or older to operate kitchen equipment
