Avitide seeks an enthusiastic and team-oriented scientist to build upon their highly motivated and interdisciplinary team and add to the culture of rapid and continuous technology innovation. This position is at the forefront of discovering and engineering ligands with high binding specificity towards therapeutic proteins, viral vectors and other clinical candidates. The successful applicant will have a wealth of experience in general molecular biology and protein engineering techniques, for example in development of protein or peptide-based affinity reagents. They will provide core expertise to execute on development and production of affinity ligands. Mastery of molecular cloning, recombinant ligand production and general protein engineering skills are critical to the role. Expertise in optimizing processes for improved yield and purity is also desirable.
