Job description
The Village At Summerville is seeking a part-time Security Guard to join our compassionate Christian ministry dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors of all faiths.
As a Security Guard, you will be Responsible for the Security and Safety of our Residents, personnel, and our community. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.
Must be able to work 3rd Shift 10:30pm-7:00am weekends included
Requirements:Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
- Valid SC driver’s license
- Ability to handle crisis situations calmly, and efficiently
- Able to Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Climb stairs, or ramps occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- 1 or 2 years of related experience
