Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 (40 Hours) Hybrid

Summary/Objective:

The Senior Collaboration Engineer is responsible for the delivery of project assignments, including the analysis, design and architecture, deployment and support of the Microsoft Office 365 platform.

  • Lead the delivery of projects and solutions to completion in a team environment while demonstrating a consultative personality, leadership mindset, and collaborative communication style
  • Performs role as senior technical resource on Collaboration Group; provides mentorship guidance to Collaboration Engineer I & II
  • Implement and document Office365 product projects and support including system configurations, standards and procedures
  • Develops engineering processes to test and implement new software features and products that strengthen the Microsoft infrastructure, security and end-user client experience
  • Provide overall subject matter expertise regarding security, architectural design, migration, management and implementation support for Office 365 and its underlying technologies
  • Demonstrate your consultative capabilities by providing value added information to clients for connecting technology and business value in the solutions that you develop
  • Deliver subject matter expertise of Office365 and provide value add information and guidance to the team for defining Office365 roadmaps, lifecycle management, roll out strategies, and driving adoption to leverage the business value of Office365
  • Assist in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and maintenance to ensure health and high performance of the Office365 product line
  • Oversees organization and support requirements of all Conf Room AV/Video Conferencing design, and support. Engaging resources from other IS depts and Facilities as necessary

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Telecommunications / or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in Information Systems, with focus on Video Conferencing/AV integration and design, application administration, installation, support, and management for an immersive conferencing solutions. (Crestron, Polycom, Shure, etc)
  • 5+ years of experience administering an Office 365 environment
  • Must be highly skilled at ‘Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator’ level support: with focus on management of Microsoft end-user collaboration-based applications in a low/no code environment

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

  • Background supporting network reliant systems and active application resource control and reporting
  • Knowledge of competitor’s meeting and collaboration solutions is a plus. (Zoom, WebEx, GoTo Meeting, etc.)

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
