We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Endevor Administrator to join our Mainframe Services team. This role is located in Westborough, MA, Pittsburgh, PA, Lake Mary, FL HYBRID/REMOTE.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
You will work with a team of Endevor administrators who collaboratively service hundreds of business applications across multiple Endevor instances.
You will have primary responsibilities for one or more Endevor instance but will be expected to learn and be able to support the others as needed.
You will provide daily support to application programmers who use Endevor for software change management on the mainframe.
You will assist in a variety of projects, some Endevor specific, others of a corporate nature.
You will be expected to engage in the provision of audit artifacts to internal and external auditors as required on a time constrained basis.
You will participate in mainframe modernization efforts underway at BNY Mellon.
You will be expected to bring prior experience to bear in solving problems and designing go-forward solutions, both in day-to-day support and in project efforts.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required4 - 6 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
A team player who enjoys working as part of a team.
Five years or more of Endevor Administration experience required.
Strong working knowledge of mainframe concepts and tools, i.e., JCL, ISPF, SDSF, IBM Utilities, etc.
Experience with REXX / CLIST / COBOL a plus but not mandatory.
Comfortable dealing with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, and positional levels within the company. A self-starter who is driven to learn.
