Perennial Environmental Services, LLC (Perennial) is actively seeking a highly motivated person to fill an Environmental Project Manager position in their Houston, Texas office. Perennial is a rapidly growing environmental consulting firm that provides ecological and cultural resource services to a variety of clients throughout the country.

The individual should have strong leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask and manage/mentor junior technical staff on a variety of concurrent projects, experience estimating and managing budgets, and experience writing technical proposals. A minimum of two years of direct project management experience involving one or more of the following (preferably on energy sector projects) is required:

• National Environmental Policy Act compliance;
• Clean Water Act permitting and compliance;
• Conducting informal and formal consultations under the Endangered Species Act; and
• Section 106 of the Historic Preservation Act compliance.

Other job responsibilities will include the preparation and editorial review of various technical environmental reports and environmental permit applications. This individual will be directly involved in consultations with our clients as well as federal, state, and local environmental agencies.

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s level education in one or more of the following disciplines: environmental science, geology, ecology, botany, forestry, soil science, aquatic ecology, or plant ecology. The candidate must also possess excellent written and oral communication skills; be highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented; and the ability to effectively interface with field personnel, internal management, clients, and agency staff.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
