JR286 is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (Corporate FP&A) to drive business through standard budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will be critical in building a more robust data-driven decision making process, leading the annual budget development and quarterly forecasting cycles. This role will support the Finance Manager-Dakine, the Executive leadership team and is highly visible both internally and externally. This position reports to the Finance Manager-Dakine and is located at the Company’s global headquarters in Torrance, California.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in the strategic financial modeling of the business and assisting the Executive Team in establishing long range financial targets for the business.
• Support the FP&A Manager in the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasting cycles by partnering with the Executive team and their respective teams to consolidate inputs to produce financial plans
• Support the delivery of monthly reporting packages including variance versus budget, prior year and forecast including commentary and actionable recommendations.
• Manage headcount-related expenses and T&E– ensure accurate historical / current reporting by department
• Prepare / distribute detailed monthly reports that include actuals compared to budget & prior year
• Provide analysis of capacity planning against sales and retail demand.Assist in preparation of reporting and supporting analysis for Quarterly Business Reviews with Marquee.
• Utilize flash reporting against budgets, forecasts, and prior year to drive a more robust close process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities as needed

What to Bring:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate strategy, operations finance or related finance role
• BS in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA a plus
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Competency with basic FP&A and financial reporting principles
• Ability to manage changing priorities in fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity
• Experience with financial planning systems (Hyperion Essbase preferred, TM1, other)
• Previous Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Retail experience preferred
