HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Financial Planning: Participates in the development of financial and operational plans through an annual planning process (forecasting, budgeting, inventory planning), and intermittently throughout the year as needed.
• Financial Reporting: Provides reporting and analysis of financial, operating and sales data on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis and intermittently throughout the year as needed.
• Supports the U.S. business by creating and managing financial models and by tracking and providing insight regarding key operational metrics. Specifically, the role will be critical in understanding inventory, sales programs, retailer health, and profit optimization.
• Business Analytics acumen needed to understand and communicate trends and risk factors, and to escalate issues on a timely basis.
• Analysis of existing processes and working to improve or adapt new processes as necessary. This will be a “roll-up-the-sleeves” person who will help to improve business processes as the organization grows.
• The analyst will facilitate a better understanding of the drivers of our business and supporting decisions on future investments, by:
• Analyzing and defining the dependencies between the different drivers; and
• Proposing implementation of new or adapted metrics
• Some accounting functions as required, including:
• Limited month-end closing responsibilities including analysis of reserves and accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis and more.
• Month-end reporting including sales, commissions, and operating expense reports.

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

• 4-6 years in an FP&A role supporting a sales organization
• BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
• MBA or actively working toward an MBA degree preferred
• Highly proficient in Excel (including pivot tables and V-lookups functions), MS Office, and financial software applications (Oracle and Tableau a plus)
• Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills (have the ability to tell a story with the numbers)
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
• History of producing management and executive-level reporting
• Strong understanding of Accounting processes and Financial Statements
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact across multiple department functions
• Effective in quickly learning and utilizing analysis tools to ensure timely, accurate, and insightful forecasts
