Mersana Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company using its differentiated and proprietary ADC platforms to rapidly develop novel ADCs with optimal efficacy, safety and tolerability to meaningfully improve the lives of people fighting cancer. Mersana’s lead product candidate, upifitamab rilsodotin (UpRi), is a Dolaflexin ADC targeting NaPi2b that is being studied in UPLIFT, a single-arm registrational trial in patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer; UPGRADE, a Phase 1/2 umbrella trial evaluating UpRi in combination with other ovarian cancer therapies; and UP-NEXT, a Phase 3 clinical trial of UpRi as monotherapy maintenance following treatment with platinum doublets in recurrent platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer. Mersana is also advancing XMT-1660, a Dolasynthen ADC targeting B7-H4, and XMT-2056, an Immunosynthen ADC targeting a novel epitope of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), in addition to other earlier-stage assets. Mersana has an opening for a Senior Manager / Associate Director, G&A Systems Business Analyst. How do you know if you’re the right fit?
The Sr. Manager / Associate Director, G&A Systems Business Analyst will:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of system and business requirements for the HR, Finance and legal teams.
- Prepare communications, project plans, test plans and makes presentations on system/package enhancements and/or alternatives with senior business users to identify and prioritize needs, articulate business impact and workarounds, and evaluate alternative business solutions
- Document requirements and solution designs before configuring or directing build of application solutions for the business requirements
- Define testing requirements including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing between different applications
- Work with MSP’s to develop project plan to deliver project scope.
- Act as a liaison between the IT MSP development group and business units for the evaluation, requirements, design, development, and implementation of new systems/packages and enhancements, configurations and customizations of existing systems or packages
- Participate, analyze, facilitate, and may lead testing activities
- Ensure functional integration of business process solutions during transition of new applications to production
- Coordinate warranty/post warranty cutover plans and act as the primary contact for the project team, interfacing with key individuals during transition of applications
- Update support documentation as necessary, adhering to Sarbanes Oxley process and procedure requirements
- Provide operational support to end-users of the system including configuration maintenance, troubleshoot and resolve system problems
- Engage collaboratively with Finance, HR and legal team members and as needed, across other areas.
The other stuff
This role is best suited for a professional with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and subject matter experience for at least 5-8 years in a professional setting.
Other essential skills include:
- 3-5 years of experience in Oracle cloud ERP, 8+ years of experience in Oracle ERP, Workday, Workday Adaptive insights, working in SOX environment and audit activities, and expert-level knowledge of SDLC process.
- Experience in working with HR, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Attention to detail, commitment to integrity and ethics, strong collaboration and teamwork, and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Being able to develop functional and technical design specifications for application enhancements and oversee development, test, user acceptance and implementation with an excellent understanding of IT Change Control processes.
