Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to develop, implement and manage quality control processes and procedures. This position manages a team of quality control inspectors and will report to the Director of Food Safety and Quality.

You will...

• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality
• Lead and manage the department engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity
• Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products
• Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures
• Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company
• Train management team on quality assurance programs and procedures
• Maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams
• Design, develop and implement quality control training programs
• Manage relationships with vendors and procurement to ensure quality of all purchased parts
• Ensuring that documentation and design controls are appropriate for organization
• Perform internal and external audits

You have...

• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field with management work experience.
• At least 5 years of work experience in quality assurance, should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as a quality assurance manager, and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.
• Strong attention to detail and data driven mindset
• Extensive knowledge of quality assurance principles
• Technical Capacity: computer literacy to input information into the computer
• The ability to coach and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals
