Position Title: Senior Manager, Human Resources

Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Human Resources provides administrative support for various HR employee programs within the organization, including international compliance, performance management, HRIS system maintenance and reporting US and international payroll backup. The Manager will also assist with employee inquiries and various projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the HRIS database (UKG). Run regular and ad-hoc reports for HR leadership to include, compensation, benefits, EEO, and turnover and provide analysis.
- Provides administrative support for Goal Setting processes—track completed forms, send reminders, create data spreadsheets for calibration meetings.
- Oversee the performance management process and work with leaders on their employee reviews and evaluations . Provide training as necessary.
- Coach managers in giving good and bad feedback, navigating challenging and working through complex employee relations issues to help promote a positive culture.
- Works closely with HR team, leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase positivity and retention.
- Act as backup to Payroll Manager, including payroll data entry and international payroll coordination.
- Conduct research on international countries where Special Olympics is considering hiring employees or has current staff.
- Duties/responsibilities will vary each year depending on annual initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of job-related experience, preferably in a human resource department; High school diploma; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Well-developed organizational skills and an attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with UKG Human Resources Information System
- Experience with Cornerstone
