Cimarron is proud to support the Northrop Grumman/Bechtel team in the design of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system, the Sentinel, for the US Air Force. Sentinel is a vital Department of Defense program that modernizes the nation's aging Minuteman III ICBM weapon system, which is the ground leg of the US nuclear triad. As part of Bechtel's team, we provide launch system design, construction, and integration.

Cimarron is seeking a Senior Pipe Support Engineer that will locate and design supports for various piping systems and perform associated calculations using GT Strudl in Ogden, UT.

Key Duties:

• Utilize knowledge of common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC and ASME B31.3.
• Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
• Perform work in a 3D model environment.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
• 6 or more years of experience.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 piping codes.
• Prior experience using a pipe support structural analysis program.
• Prior experience working in a 3D model environment.
• GT Strudl for support/frame analysis experience, or a similar tool.
• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Prior experience modeling pipe supports in a 3D model.
• GT Strudl for support/frame analysis experience.
• P.E. registration.
• Previous Bechtel project experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $112,000.00 - $175,000.16 per year
