A full-service brick-and-mortar Kumi is opening inside Le Méridien New York, Central Park on 57th Street. Kumi offers shareable Japanese/Pan-Asian cuisine that will both delight the senses and be approachable to eat. The menu highlights both traditional offerings as well as modern plates including a shareable lobster tempura in chili sauce, green tea smoked chicken breast and an array of exceptional desserts.
Job Summary:
Servers are team members who have an Of Service mindset, are passionate about & are inspired by great food, and are enthusiastic about providing amazing experiences for our guests!
Job Responsibilities:
- Be a core team member in our high energy, fun restaurant
- Be Genuine and authentically yourself in how you connect with others – show your personality!
- Know the menu inside and out – take our guests on a culinary tour
- Engage with guests as they make food and beverage decisions
- Enter orders; deliver food and beverages, process payments
- Create and nurture a fun, family-style work environment
- Uphold our high sanitation and safety standards
