Job Responsibilities

As the ServiceNow UI/UX Designer you will contribute to the following areas:

  • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional peers in development of application coding design, and delivery of first-rate ServiceNow solutions
  • Analyze and study complex system requirements to optimize application efficiency
  • Design software tools with consistent look and feel across all process areas, support software reuse and domain analysis, and manage their implementation
  • Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools
  • Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
  • Perform user research and interviews to gather feedback to inform design decisions
  • Wireframe concepts, iterate between low-fidelity and hi-fidelity
  • Conduct user testing on conceptual prototypes
  • Explore many different approaches to solving a specific user problem
  • Synthesize research findings into report and make informed design decision

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Possess and experience utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills with direct communication to customers and end-users
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI/UX design
  • 3+ years of experience delivering interface design solutions, including interactive wireframes, user flows, style guides, web and mobile prototypes
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite/XD and Rapid prototyping tools like Invision, Axure RP, Figma, Sketch, or Baslmiq
  • Experience working with UX design concepts for COTS solutions, preferably ServiceNow
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create interfaces for clients, work closely to map customer journey and determine client needs
  • Experience creating storyboards, information architecture and user flow diagrams
  • Familiar working with design systems
  • Experience in sizing and prototyping
  • Experience in conducting user interviews to determine ergonomic web design and designing a consistent interface and experience across disparate requirements
  • Experience with designing User Interfaces for ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with developing to Section 508
  • Familiarity with React Web Components
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow UI Builder

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience with W3C web design standards and technologies, including CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript
  • Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation.
  • Experience with application development, mobile application development, web development, design thinking, UI/UX, workflow design and development, platform development
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • ServiceNow UI Builder Fundamentals training
