Job description

We are looking for a 2nd shift Shipping Administrator to assist with distribution team. We are looking for an organized candidate to assist navigating the flow of our inbound and outbound shipments.

DUTIES:

• Assist with prioritizing the daily work for the outbound operation providing a continuous workflow by handing the work to the floor while meeting deadlines
• Route orders through various customer transportation portals
• Help prioritize future work for the floor based on the company needs
• Update reports and spreadsheets as needed
• Provide good customer service to carriers and visitors who enter the DC
• Process required shipping documentation
• Monitor orders through picking/shipping process
• Provide daily support to operational WMS transportation wave planning and scheduling
• Support daily wave releases
• Monitor daily pickups
• Communicate with carriers as needed to support outbound and inbound operations
• Provide administrative support for any outbound and inbound reporting
• Cross train wherever needed to support Traffic group

WHO YOU ARE

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

• Experience in distribution warehousing, transportation/dispatch
• Knowledge and experience with transportation, routing, or traffic process
• Knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems
• Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office – excel, word, e-mail)
• ERP experience, specifically NetSuite, a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make decisions and multitask in fast-paced situations
• Ability to work well under time constraints
• Detail oriented
• A willingness to engage in a broad variety of tasks in support of the day to day success of the distribution center

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
