Responsibilities included the following but not limited to:

· Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs and to determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols

· Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary

· Perform Polysomnographic data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free and make adjustments, if necessary

· Perform routine and complex equipment care and maintenance

· Document routine observations including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attitude:

· Ability to organize and plan the activates of subordinates, and to delegate appropriately

· Computer skills that included word processing, spreadsheets and efficient use of the internet, texting, and email

· Demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills

· Demonstrate appropriate social skills

Required Training and Certifications

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Registered/Certified Sleep Technologists, credentialed through the BRPT, with at least one (1) year of sleep experience.

· Certified in Basic Life Support by the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer or the American Heart Associate Health Care Provider or the American Health and Safety Institute Professional Rescuer
