We are on the hunt for a highly-creative and experienced Social Media Content Creator/Producer and Editor to join our dynamic social media team. As the Social Media Content Creator, you will be in charge of all content projects involving the planning, creation, production, and editing of organic social media assets for assigned brand(s). Your duties will include creating social content production Run-Of-Show planning, storyboards for social media posts, content production shoots for social posts including video, photography, and designed assets, content design and editing (both video and photography), and more.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess both an analytical and creative mindset with excellent interpersonal communication, planning and presentation skills. A true passion for creating original social media content that sparks and drives engagement with core audiences and appeals to audience growth, a true trend setting who can identify content opportunities. You will also demonstrate the ability to coordinate with clients at a variety of levels and across functions and oversee client expectations. The ability to be a team player and work as a brand unit with is key to success.

Additional Details

? This position is based in NYC - with some travel required based on brand and talent needs

Essential Duties

? Oversee the production of all organic social media assets (video, photos, designed assets, and animation), specifically for high-level celebrity talent and brand accounts

? Conceive of, produce, shoot, and edit all organic social media assets several times a week on location with talent based in NYC

? Accompany talent on occasional trips to maintain continuity on celebrity’s social platforms

? Create social content specific to different platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube

? Adapt content production and needs based on content analysis and performance

? Post-produce/ edit content in a timely manner using available pop or library music and graphics when needed

? Coordinate with Creative and Social Media Managers regularly on strategy and timing of production

? Prepare accurate status reports and run-of-show for all social shoots

? Identify any issues and resolve them in a timely manner

? Ensure all content is on brand and meets client’s requirements

? Ensure all material used is appropriately licensed or cleared for use on social

Qualifications & Education

? Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or relevant field.

? 3+ years experience in a similar role, creating social media first content.

? Strong skills shooting media on both smartphones and higher quality cameras.

? Strong post-production skills editing social content with music and graphics.

? Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.

? Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and work cross-functionally across teams including creative, social media, and more.

? Ability to interpret content performance.

? Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

? Experience working with high level executive, expert or celebrity talent.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

This is a remote position. Incumbent must be able to sit at and navigate a computer workstation. May be required to utilize additional equipment and software to complete projects.
