Solar Sales Consultant - Base Salary + Commission
Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar Energy Sales Consultant to join our team in Springfield. Ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of sales background and a genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainability. You will generate leads going door-to-door, cold calling, and following-up with leads provided by the inside sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and meeting sales goals by promoting our solar products and services to residential and commercial clients in the Lowell area.
The base salary is $45K + uncapped commission (based on number of sales, not size of packages sold), $6,500 annual transportation allowance. The estimated annual income with commission is $60K-$125K, but the commission is uncapped and a motivated sales individual can earn much more!
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain relationships with potential and current customers in Springfield
- Conduct in-person consultations to educate customers about the benefits of solar power in Springfield
- Develop custom solar solutions that meet each customer's specific needs in Springfield
- Track sales activities and follow up with leads using a CRM system
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets in Springfield
- Attend trade shows and events in Lowell to generate new leads and broaden your network
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulations in Springfield
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of sales experience, with preference given to those with related experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
