Huddle Tech, a fully-managed sports trading services provider, is hiring full-time pregame and in-game Traders at its office in Henderson, NV. Huddle partners with multiple sportsbooks, including Pinnacle, Circa, BetCris, Sporting group, Supersport. Huddle is going through an exciting phase: it just merged with another business and secured significant investment to continue our growth globally.

Purpose of the role

Huddle’s trading team uses proprietary, quantitative models to deliver the fastest, most accurate pricing, and most reliable in-play odds to sportsbook operators globally.

Traders are market-makers. They make markets by posting, monitoring, and adjusting market odds and limits based on their judgment in response to new information for a growing variety of American sports. Traders confirm game-state data and manage risk.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Traders’ responsibilities will grow as they gain experience and demonstrate quality thought and decision-making processes. While the role initially focuses on quality control, Traders can earn more autonomy over trading decisions including which markets to offer, how to move off sharp bets, and what the limits should be.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sports events in real-time and ensure game state accuracy
• Post, monitor, and adjust pregame and in-game odds and betting limits
• Manage the positions of each sport and take action to ensure maximum profitability
• Analyze bettor behavior and market trends to predict betting patterns

Requirements and qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Numerate, probabilistic thinkers
• Excellent knowledge of US Sports including Basketball, American Football, Baseball, Ice Hockey
• Good overall sports knowledge with a strong awareness of the sporting calendar
• Precision and strong attention to details
• Good oral and written English skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in shifts (morning, afternoon, night) and in flexible working schedules (including weekends, evenings and public holidays) to cover the busy sporting calendar.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
