In addition to the substitute positions listed above, SESD will be utilizing the newly passed Act 86. The Act allows students enrolled in an accredited Pennsylvania college or university who are currently pursuing teacher certification to participate in a program that would allow them to substitute teach once they have earned 60 credit hours. Substitute Teacher Service has modeled a program that complies with the requirements of the Act. For more information, please contact them.
