Salary: $100-$120k
Requirements: 5+ Years Experience as Superintendent with Industrial construction projects
We are a full-service construction company headquartered in Detroit and has built projects both big and small in geographic locations ranging from Midland, Michigan to Chennai, India. Our company has managed projects with budgets ranging from a few million dollars to more than $1 billion. We are looking for Superintendents that are builders. Those that have a passion and experience in the building process. This includes scheduling, coordinating and supervising craft employee activities in one or more trade groups. What You Will Be Doing
The Construction Superintendent oversees all construction activities and coordinates the work of all trades. The position maintains quality control throughout the course of the project all while keeping the project on schedule. Knowledge of plans and specifications is a must. Basic computer skills are required. This position requires the ability to work with a diverse team while achieving all the goals of the construction project.
- Must be able to read and understand construction documents
- Has the ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day onsite management of the project
- Maintain the site specific quality control plan
- Maintain the site specific safety plan
What You Need for this Position
- 8+ years supervisory experience in similar facility construction
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and demonstrated ability to control and supervise large groups.
- Prior experience with Commercial and / or Industrial project scopes of $15M value or more.
