Defense contractor involved with product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area. With a 50+ year foundation, The Marvin Group supports all branches of the Department of Defense and allies around the globe on an array of programs and platforms. We support many military prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct supervision of employees in accordance with the Company Policies and Procedures
• Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPl's)
• Develop custodial processes, standards and procedures
• Develop subordinates’ skills and encourage growth
• Appraising employee performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Coordinates, directs, and schedules custodial staff in performing daily custodial services.
• Maintains professional relationship with employees, suppliers and vendors.
• Conducts facility walks, quality control inspections/audits and provides feedback to personnel and customers as appropriate.
• Schedules and prioritizes tasks, and ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines
• Perform RCCA’s, corrective and preventive actions and/or assist workers to solve problems
• Enforce Safety requirements, regulations and company policies
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred with proven experience as custodial supervisor or similar position
• Experience with floor care maintenance preferred
• Experience in custodial cleaning practices, with ability to show improvement in a continually developing environment
• Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma tools preferred
• The ability to drive process improvement initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (Minimum Intermediate Level) &, Word, Visio and PowerPoint preferred
• Must have leadership skills and be able to work in a team environment.
• Including full knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities and duties completed Custodian I, Custodian II, and Custodian Ill.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
