Role: Supply Chain Manager
Salary: National - £41,000 to £75,000
This is a great opportunity for a curious self-starter who enjoys networking and uses their insight to drive performance management of third parties and the business. This role is ideal for an experienced supplier manager with a proven track record of delivering value through effective relationship and performance management with a strong appetite to make a difference.
A bit about the job:
You’ll be overseeing and managing a portfolio property suppliers within one the largest general insurance claims supply chains in the UK. With an opportunity to bring your market knowledge and insight back into Aviva and influence the claims strategy at the same time delivering market leading performance for our customers through the suppliers you manage.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong experience of supplier relationship and performance management within an insurance/financial services environment.
- Commercially astute, able to exercise judgement and make recommendations
- Strong influencing skills and experience of dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
- Previous experience of demonstrating how technology and innovation can be used to drive benefits within a services-based supply chain. Experience of applying data science in a services-based supply chain an advantage but not essential.
- Experience of corporate governance in a large listed and regulated company, understanding the risks faced and the controls required to manage and mitigate those risks. Specific data security experience (specifically third-party risks) an advantage but not essential.
- Sustainability is important to Aviva and forms a big part of our plans, particularly within our supply chain, so any experience here is an advantage (but not essential)
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £41,000 and £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
