POSITION
JOB PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. By working closely with the Supply Chain team, the Trainees support the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day-to-day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees will collaborate cross-functionally to develop initiatives to improve business results and present plans to the Executive Leadership Team.
TASKS & RESPONISBILTIES:
Support product replenishment from distribution center for permanent and seasonal products:
- Analyze E-Commerce and boutique stock and replenishment targets
- Provide recommendations to improve stock availability and sales potential
- Become a key user of replenishment tools and support any initiatives in replenishment tools upgrade
- Support product re-balancing actions
Inventory Deployment:
- Ensure inventory deployment according to the needs of the distribution planning, merchandising, and retail teams
- Identify and report the shortages and stocks excess risks
- Communicate the availability of products to Boutiques and Merchandising teams
Operational Follow-Up:
- Assists and supports the Supply Chain department in key administrative assignments
- Maintain and publish appropriate reports for stock and sales, boutique replenishment, stock availability, pullback compliance, etc.
- Streamline communication between E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Boutiques
Support Demand Planning Reporting & Analysis
- Assists with bi-weekly quota tracking for specific categories
- Update and actualize daily data sets and monthly category dashboards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Full-time, 6 Month Program, from January through June 2023
- Available to work M-F, 9am to 6pm
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (mainly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal and external groups
- Strong time management skills and prioritization
- Ability to multitask and show flexibility across priorities
- Ability to operate all equipment and programs necessary to perform the job
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential, controversial, and sensitive nature
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization
