Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher Positions Available.

Job Types: Part-time

Hours options include: 1 or 2pm to 5:30pm Monday through Friday (Flexible start time.)

Great for someone who has a job earlier in the day/college students - we can discuss more about scheduling when we connect! (All holidays/breaks are paid time off.)

Ideal Candidates

Our ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working with children 18 months to 5 years old in a progressive early childhood setting. Candidates should be warm, nurturing, creative, engaging and possess excellent communication skills. Applicants must be able to work collaboratively, be flexible, have a positive attitude and a passion for working with young children.

Qualified Candidates:

-Have experience working with children ages 18 months to 5 years old.

-Have an extensive understanding of child development and are able to develop an age-appropriate and hands-on learning curriculum for the children in their classroom.

-Have experience creating and developing strong relationships with children in order to observe/document learning.

-Have experience creating and maintaining respectful communication directly with parents and colleagues. (Both in-person and written communication.)

-Have experience teaching about Jewish traditions/holidays or is willing to learn!

Reisman Preschool of Beth El in South Orange, New Jersey is a play-based school that has provided a warm, safe, relaxed and nurturing Jewish environment for young children to grow and thrive for over 35 years.
