We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tech Support Specialist to join our team.This is an in office position and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users who are experiencing computer or technology-related issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to end-users in a professional and timely manner.
  • Responding to technical inquiries via email, phone, or in-person and providing effective solutions to user issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Documenting technical support requests and resolutions in a help desk tracking system.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software for users.
  • Testing and evaluating new technology to determine its suitability for use by the organization.
  • Providing training and guidance to users on the use of hardware and software.
  • Maintaining system security by implementing security protocols, installing antivirus software, and monitoring for potential security breaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Comp TIA certification
  • Comp TIA assistance if needed within 6 months of employment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the tech support field.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to be able to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Time management skills to be able to handle multiple support requests at once.
  • Certification in specific technologies may also be required.
