Phoenix Labor Group is NOW HIRING - TIG Welders! (Locations: Morgan, LA - Hartford, IL - Mobile, AL - Pascagoula, MS - Panama City, FL - Tampa, FL)

Some positions offer some form of travel assistance, housing & Per Diem (must qualify). Local rate is higher with no per diem.

We have positions available all along the Gulf Coast (New Iberia, LA to Tampa, FL)

Plenty of Overtime!

MUST have 3 years experience (minimum) - Must be able to weld Copper Nickel

*Plan, layout, weld, install, test and repair all types of pipe and similar tubular products in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards

*Review layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding or cutting metal components

*Complete welds to the specified standards using appropriate equipment and materials

*Install and verify operation of high-pressure steel pipes and fittings

*Repair and replace any damaged pipe; fabricate and install metal fittings; install supports, valves, and other control equipment; bolt, clamp, or weld parts to secure in position for welding

*Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, assemble, weld, and install all types of pipe and/or similar tubular products

*Test installed piping systems and install other related items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications

*Set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment

*Troubleshoot equipment

*Produce high-quality welds, including water-tight penetrations with a variety of materials including weld steel, stainless, and aluminum

*Work with minimal supervision

*Perform other duties as assigned

*Must be able to pass a drug screen

We are always hiring great people for our SHIPYARD projects. We have work available for many other crafts, including but not limited to: Welders, Fitters, Electricians, Machinists, Blaster Painters, Fire Watch General Labor, Etc. along the Gulf Coast region.
