Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Brockport, NY
Salary: $2880-$3060 Weekly
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team at our Brockport, NY location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans, and ensuring that images are of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT scans on patients to produce high-quality images that can be interpreted by physicians
- Ensure that patients are informed about the procedure and feel comfortable during the scan
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all procedures performed and patient medical histories
- Analyze images and identify any anomalies that may require further investigation or referral to a radiologist
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that imaging results are interpreted correctly and used properly in patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents used during imaging procedures
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all patients and staff
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Certified
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve any issues that may arise
