Position: Housekeeper

Location: Waikoloa, Maui, HI

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Shift is 8am-4pm w/ 30 minute break; Must be available on weekends and holidays

Pay: $18.50-$19.50/hr PLUS continuous mentorship and assistance with progressive career placements; **Up to $1500 sign on bonus**

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking Housekeepers to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Cleans rooms (e.g. stripping dirty linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and counters, replenishing linen and guest amenities, moving furniture)
• Greets guests and responds to requests immediately with friendly/genuine acknowledgment
• Reports deficiencies to maintain rooms in compliance with resort standards
• Follows all safety procedures/standards and can recognize and act in emergencies
• Maintains cleanliness of carts and ensures supplies and equipment are in a neat and orderly appearance
• Assists management in maintaining an accurate inventory of linen and supplies
• Assists co-workers and performs other work assignments as requested

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work in environments such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull cart over 200lbs
• Communicate effectively with guests in English
