This position is located within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Public Works Department Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (BSV&E) Product Line. The incumbent schedules and manages the distribution of Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) such as sedans, vans, pick-up, stake trucks, construction equipment, sweepers, fuel dispensing trucks, tractor-trailer combinations, cranes, and other mobile equipment utilizing MAXIMO.
The incumbent provides technical guidance and assistance on Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) inventory matters directly to the BSVE Operations Supervisor, but may be required to provide information to the BSVE Branch Head, Unit Transportation Coordinators, Tenant activities, military units located throughout the AOR and other supported Federal agencies. Additionally the incumbent reviews work orders, ledgers, logs, inputs and reconciles daily labor distribution into Standard Labor Data Collection and Distribution Application (SLDCADA).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Skill in written and oral communication. Must be able to receive and relay information in a tactful manner
· Knowledge of, and skill in applying commonly used budget and/or finance practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, policies, and guides pertaining to the work assigned
· Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as it pertains to the government purchase card.
· Knowledge of civilian policies and procedures and functions, processes and principles of management in order to advise others on civilian personnel issues.
· Knowledge of Equipment Codes (EC) classification, pertaining to the use and assignment.
Must have experience in:
· Proficient user of automated office support equipment, including Windows-based computer operating system and Microsoft Office suite software.
· Ability to determine the best software to use to enter, maintain and retrieve organizational and/or program data and to compile reports, produce charts and graphs, or monitor project or program status.
· Ability to design and set up procedures and format for obtaining and retrieving data in the form needed.

Requirements for all NAVFAC Southwest Positions:
