We are a new, growing, woman-owned immigration and family law firm in Cottonwood Heights. We provide personalized legal guidance to our clients on how to best move cases forward to reach our clients’ immigration objectives. We have a passion for improving our clients’ lives! We are an exciting Immigration Law firm working together to change the lives of our clients!

We are seeking an organized, adaptable, positive, and outgoing Vice President of Operations to lead our law firm located in Houston & Salt Lake City.

The Vice President of Operations will work closely with the company owner and executive team to implement the vision for the culture and ensure that the office operates efficiently and smoothly by overseeing our legal team of over 55 team members. The goal of the Vice President of Operations is to take our organization's team members growth & results by over delivering established KPI’s.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Accountable for managing an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s mission through highly successful program implementation, team engagement, and continuous improvement; and creating a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organization
  • Set goals, offer feedback, source developmental opportunities and provide long-term career guidance to counselees and others across the department or process; Direct priorities, future skills needed to address emerging opportunities, leading this effort for multiple groups, department or overall process
  • Regularly engage with counselees and those they work with to help them continuously improve; Work to increase counselees’ engagement, job satisfaction, and pride; Be a role model for doing the right things and treating people the right way
  • Responsible for assigning the right people to the right projects at the right time within budget and timelines; Ensure team members have skills and tools to perform their jobs; Act as point of escalation to senior leadership
  • Work to increase market value, client success and company output by delivering daily, weekly and monthly KPI results
  • Making calculated and strategic decisions that will impact all our clients, services and staff
  • Gather quality data (KPI, # of forms, cases, time it takes, conformity scores, etc, i.e. QA dashboards) and increase the organizations revenue by leading and executing company's goals
  • Data Driven Leader: Put in place right tools to analyze data talent to apply methos for success

Knowledge Base & Education:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week during normal weekday business hours. Due to the nature of the position, some communications or tasks may be required before or after normal business hours on occasion for client events or office maintenance items.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management or a MBA is strongly preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Leadership background with an extensive knowledge of product & employee development
  • At least 1 or more years of experience in immigration law with office management and personnel supervision background, preferably with related experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred.
  • Strong computing skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English & Spanish
  • Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion

  • Ability and confidence to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions
  • Ability to respond to unexpected challenges, including proactively developing innovative solutions to complex problems while maintaining a professional demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
