CREST Collaborative is currently looking for a part-time Vocational Tutor/Mentor with a carpentry background. Vocational experience working with students with moderate disabilities. Ability to teach or tutor middle, high school and post secondary aged special education students. Candidates with a 7 D license preferred.This position supports all programs and students at the Broadway campus and works closely with our Job Developer, Leads, and Program DirectorOverall Responsibilities: Teach students carpentry skills in a school setting;Act as liaison with staff for assignments; delegate, assist, and supervise work of students, individually or in small groups, in a vocational shop.Organize program of practical and technical instruction, including demonstrations of skills required. Teach carpentry essentials and basics to students. Tests and evaluate achievement of student in technical knowledge and skills;The position is part-time. Hourly rate between $30-$40/hour.
