Job Title: Extrusion Shift Lead

We are currently seeking an experienced Extrusion Shift Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in extrusion processes and techniques, as well as excellent leadership and supervisory skills. As an Extrusion Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of extrusion operators, ensuring the smooth operation of our extrusion processes, and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of extrusion operators and oversee the extrusion process
• Inspect products and troubleshoot process issues
• Perform Die Change-Over and On-Line Die Cleaning Standards
• Conduct housekeeping audits to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Proficient in administrative and computer functions
• Manage employee scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve production goals and maintain product quality
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve processes and reduce costs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in extrusion processes and techniques
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to inspect products and troubleshoot process issues
• Proficient in administrative and computer functions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as needed

Pay: Competitive salary; $35k-$45K, commensurate with experience

Shift: Flexible shifts available, including day, evening, and overnight

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
