Reports to: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary: Plans, organizes, and monitors employees to achieve stated production goals at the desired level outlined by the Operations Manager.

Essential Functions: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

· Demonstrate the ability to lead people and get results through others.

· Plan ahead and prepare action plans to achieve results.

· Conduct employee performance reviews and discipline.

· Develop a positive work environment.

· Ensures shipping, receiving, storage, distribution and production are performed in an efficient manner.

· Makes employee decisions including interview, selection and retention of employees.

· Conduct employee training, career counseling, and development.

· Continually review production requirements and assign employees to the correct work area.

· Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.

· Resolves employee issues through problem solving.

· Measures and maintains accuracy of inventory.

· Manages multiple problems.

· Coordinate daily workflow with other management personnel.

· Performs accident and near miss investigations.

· Conduct employee team meetings.

· All operations supervisors are expected to be available to work in all areas of the operation.

· Promotes accurate, timely communication up and down the organization to ensure priority issues are addressed.

· Sets an example to co-workers.

· Coordinate daily workflow with other warehouse personnel.

· Ensures the work areas are appropriately maintained and correct any unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· Minimum of 3 years warehouse experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

· Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Must be able to work flexible schedules as required which may include working off shifts and weekend.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Proficiency in English and Spanish oral and written communication

· At least 1 year experience utilizing a warehouse management system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4x10
• Weekend availability

• Ogden, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
