InfoWest is an Internet Service Provider based in St. George, Utah. We primarily serve communities throughout southern and central Utah, as well as Overton Nevada with highly reliable wireless and fiber optic technologies. We recently became subsidiary of the Boston Omaha Company (NYSE:BOC) and are rapidly expanding our fiber-optic services. As our company is preparing for rapid growth with more extensive construction, marketing and sales budgets, we need to expand our supporting teams.

WIRELESS HIGH-SPEED INTERNET INSTALLER

Job Functions:

• Mounting and aligning wireless internet antenna systems.
• Running CAT5/CAT6 Cable.
• Terminating Cable Ends
• Programming routers and/or computers to utilize our network.
• Maintain and ensure that wireless internet equipment is functioning properly.
• Follow OSHA and related company policies at all times.
• This is NOT an entry-level IT position.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily outside, working in the elements such as heat, snow, wind, and rain.
  
• Climbing ladders and working on roof tops, sometimes two to three stories.
• Interacting with customers face to face.
• Hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of personal computing equipment, networking, and routers.
• Basic knowledge of AC and DC wiring.
• Construction experience a plus.
• Customer service experience a plus
• Excellent communications skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Drivers license.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to carry ladders up to 35' in length.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders and rooftops.
• Ability to learn and to work without supervision..
