YOUTH MENTOR

Diamond Ranch Academy in Hurricane, UT is actively seeking motivated and hardworking female full-time Youth Mentors to provide direct care and support for a family of students aged 12-18. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A YOUTH MENTOR

In this mentor position, you have the rewarding job of providing direct care to our youth participants. You help these youth by creating a safe environment for their individual growth. You participate in activities such as clubs, mealtimes, and character education with the students. Additionally, you support students in their afternoon and evening clubs and activities. When needed, you give corrections. You are consistent and apply your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to your work. Because you provide direct mentoring, you are able to ensure that safety and containment are maintained at all times.

Though your youth development job is extremely satisfying, it also has its challenges. You patiently follow protocols in maintaining discipline among students. Your empathy comes through in your interactions with each participant that you work with, but you also maintain proper professional boundaries at all times. You display exemplary behavior and follow employee guidelines. In this mentoring position, you love making a difference in the lives of youth and are passionate about giving them a voice!

QUALIFICATIONS

• 19+ years of age
• Pass a background check
