EduCare Foundation is looking for qualified candidates to fill our part-time after-school program lead position for our English as a Second Language Program. We are looking for passionate educators who are eager to teach young minds and encourage them to pursue higher education/community college. All while participating in creative and FUN activities and creating projects of their own to showcase their newly acquired skills/talents.

EduCare Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) educational organization providing high-quality, heart-centered student success and after-school enrichment programs for youth. Our mission at EduCare Foundation is to develop and manage high-quality expanded learning programs. Our programs provide participants with a safe and nurturing environment that fosters engaging learning through various senses to ensure student success.

Purpose: Our after-school educational program seeks talented, experienced staff in all subject areas for students between grades 9th and 12th. We help both struggling and gifted students reach their full potential by supplementing the instruction they receive in class and guiding them toward study practices and aides that can help them excel.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San Fernando Valley, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Work Location: One location

Bilingual

• Spanish (Preferred)
