Position Summary:

RoofingSource is seeking a Production Administrator that is ambitious, motivated, and committed to being a part of our quick-growing, fast-paced company. The individual must be able to build relationships with customers and employees, have strong administrative, critical thinking, and organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task. The Production Administrator will work closely with the Production Manager and other departments to execute and improve the efficiency of projects across the country.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing the third party permitting platform and coordinating with building departments, licensing boards, and clients ensuring proper documentation and permitting are executed correctly for each project
• Applying for and ensuring licensing within specific states, cities, jurisdictions, and municipalities are up to date
• Managing administrative processes ensuring clerical work is executed correctly
• Registering manufacturer warranties and closing upon completion of inspection
• Creating and maintaining a live inventory list of material stock
• Handling weekly communication with crews regarding company initiatives and processes and sending follow-up emails synthesizing the discussion
• Assisting in sourcing and ensuring non-job related items and tools are serviced and inspected, including but not limited to: fire extinguishers, vehicle service, tool maintenance, etc.
• Assisting Project Managers in sourcing specific job-related materials or hard-to-find products to ensure stockpile is maintained
• Booking lodging for crew personnel
• Maintaining client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience in roofing, construction, manufacturing, or the trades
• Proven computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite)
• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written

Compensation and Benefits:

The Production Administrator industry-competitive salary varies depending on a candidate's professional experience, with short-term salary increases based on performance benchmarks. Most candidates will receive a starting salary of $40,000 - $60,000/year.

Physical Demands:

The workplace is located on the second floor and requires walking up and down stairs. Long periods of sitting are often required for this office-based position.
