Summary:

• Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.
  

Duties include:

• Interact with customers, take orders, serve food and drinks.
• Present our menu options, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Follow prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for specialty coffee drinks.
• Simple food preparation for evening appetizers and desserts.
• Mix alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for customers.
• Maintain inventories by replenishing supplies and restocking pastry case and fridges.
• Improve the appearance of the store and coffee bar, and suggest creative changes.
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Consistent communication with the other Café staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Thorough cleaning of work space, public seating area, kitchen, and bathrooms.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following protocols and regulations.
• Wash dishes as part of a kitchen-wide collaborative effort.
• Familiarization with all Café operations.
• Provide the highest customer service to all our patrons and guests.

Requirements:

• Previous bartending experience.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible Schedule, without weekend and some night shift availability.
• Positive attitude and interest in contributing talents and energy towards our operations.
• Ability to interact respectfully with coworkers and work both independently and on a team.
• Physically capable of lifting/carrying 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and loading/unloading heavy objects from hot ovens and dishwashers.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Mondays. Compensation depends on your experience.
