LPN/CMA/Limited Scope Xray Operator

North Star Family Medicine is a medical office in the Brainerd Lakes Area whose focus is to establish the physician-patient relationship by creating a welcoming, relaxed, fun culture where patients feel they can speak openly to their physician and staff regarding their healthcare issues and concerns to develop a plan which meets their individual goals and needs.

The LPN/CMA provides assistant to the physician, nurse practitioner and RNs in clinic. The position is in a Family Medicine clinic that works with patient of all ages. We are looking for those with a positive attitude and willingness to assist in an established practice. Attention to detail, flexibility, and willingness to support the practice are important characteristics for this position. Shifts vary.

Skills:

Proficient administering vaccinations and injections

Phlebotomy

Ability to obtain vitals and room patients appropriately

Ability to interact effectively with patients and staff

Effective listening and communication skills

Willingness to learn and support clinic staff

Limited Scope X-Ray operator

Duties:

Patient focused rooming

Assist with referrals and other tasks of the medical office processes to ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently

Communicate results and respond to patient questions via phone or email

Order medical supplies

Assist physician or nurse practitioner with procedures

Set up room for visit based on reason for visit

Maintain cleanliness of rooms and office space

Clinic Hours

Monday 8:00am-5:00pm

Tuesday 8:00am-5:00pm

Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm

Thursday 8:00am - 5:00 pm

Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 noon
