Position Overview
The Director of Admissions will lead an inside sales team to increase student enrollments and drive revenue growth. The Director of Admissions will guide the sales team as they follow up on leads through remote outreach methods, such as phone, zoom meetings, texting, and email to convert those leads to enrollments. This person is an inspiring, dynamic, and experienced inside sales leader who will drive growth and be responsible for energizing and equipping a team to meet individual quotas and metrics on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.
Position Requirements & Major Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a yearly strategic plan for B2C enrollment growth based on trends and 20+% annual growth
  • Put the needed actions and daily reports in place to monitor leading indicators of sales and enrollments
  • Focus on daily proactive sales actions to nurture leads into completed applications and then enrollments
  • Be excited to test ideas and new actions that can help more candidates find success in their teaching careers at Moreland
  • Assist in building processes and systems to increase performance and productivity of the sales team.
  • Work closely with marketing team to develop and refine lead sources and contact strategy to drive conversions.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of admissions counselors (inside sales reps) that are hungry to help each candidate enroll and have a successful start to their learning journey with Moreland
  • Establish and manage performance-based metrics for each admissions counselor
  • Inspire, onboard, and train the Admissions Team to be a performance focused, happy group, excited to help solve the teacher shortage by enrolling candidates at Moreland to start on a successful new career path in teaching
  • Execute operational strategies to set and achieve goals to ensure growth targets are met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve project, business, performance, and enrollment growth outcomes
  • Make data-driven decisions, leading against a set of defined KPIs that are the right early indicators to drive student enrollment growth
  • Anticipate business cycles and market trends to strategically plan for upcoming enrollment trends & forecasting
  • Track daily team actions and the effectiveness of those actions to accurately forecast applications and enrollments on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Track sales cycle progress on a weekly and monthly basis to make sure goals are met
  • Maintain well organized, up-to-date, and accurate sales information and activity reports in business systems
Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of inside sales leadership experience
  • Direct experience (3+ years) in leading inside sales and/or revenue generation teams in an educational or ed tech setting
  • Proven success converting qualified opportunities in an inside sales role
  • Proven ability to both build and lead a team to meet quotas
  • Results oriented with a clear mind and a data-informed orientation
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Exceptional clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude with ability to problem solve and pivot quickly to achieve goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
