The Home2 Suites and Springhill Suites on Hilton Head Island is currently looking for a leader in the maintenance department with a proven track record of building and managing teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Provides professional and courteous service at all times.

2. Oversee all maintenance and preventative maintenance to include: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, convention center front and back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, pool equipment, water fountains, switch rooms, roof exhausts, etc.

3. Monitors electric, gas and water consumption.

4. Ensures all projects are completed according to specifications and are completed on time.

5. Understands and practices all lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.

6. Perform all guestroom and public area preventive maintenance services as outlined for the hotel.

7. Performs maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly.

8. Responds to all emergency situations prepared to assist.

9. Participates in ongoing maintenance programs for event space, public space, kitchens and all convention center equipment.

10. Performs inventory duties as required.

11. Maintains cleanliness of grounds and attractiveness of landscaping.

12. Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all work space and storage areas.

13. Oversees monthly staff meetings for department, participates in weekly executive meetings.

14. Complete projects as determined by the General Manager or Ownership.

15. All other duties assigned by the General Manager or Ownership.

Job Requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
