Title: Enterprise Application Engineer and Network Administrator

CryoConcepts LP develops, manufactures, and sells cryosurgical and cryotherapeutic products worldwide. Our products are used by medical, aesthetic, and veterinary professionals (www.cryoconcepts.com).

The company is seeking an energetic, technically strong, IT professional to manage the company’s enterprise software and applications including on-premises and cloud-based network assets and information systems. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with both internal and external stakeholders and resources to develop, configure and/or improve the functioning of software to meet company requirements. The person must possess a technical understanding of a broad range of software, including Microsoft SQL, SSIS, Visual Studio and PowerBI. The individual must also possess a technical understanding of network infrastructure and domain management. By the very nature of this position, the individual should be comfortable working with all functional areas of the organization from finance to manufacturing / operations.

This position is on-stie at our Easton, Pennsylvania location.

Candidate Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

The individual will be responsible for the oversight of the company’s enterprise software, applications, network architecture and functionality of all CryoConcepts Information Systems including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of the various software and hardware assets.

Essential Functions:

· Assure the security of the company’s IT infrastructure and data. Includes user access, authentication, and permissions.

· Applications

o Maintains company software. Includes QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing and Wholesale, MISys Manufacturing, SQL, PowerBI, Office 365

o Develops/Configures/Implements/Improves applications that run on the company’s software platforms to meet the requirements of stake holders in the company.

o Assists stake holders to map business process flows (Visio) to meet business requirements keeping in mind the current capabilities of the company’s software/hardware resources and planned improvements.

· Network Administration

o Maintains Windows and Linux servers both in-house and cloud based.

o Maintains Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and RDP.

o Familiar with point-to-point and dial-up VPN connections and routing.

o Experience with AWS and RackSpace a plus.

o Responsible for patch management.

o Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise Information Management

· Office 365

o Manages internal user licenses and application access.

§ Close supervision of external user access to company SharePoint sites.

o Installs Office 365 applications on local computers for users.

o Exchange/Email Administrator

o Outlook Email Security Management

· Database Administration

o Maintains company’s SQL and Access, financial and production databases

§ QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing and Wholesale,

§ MISys Enterprise Manufacturing System,

§ Sales Organization Commissions Reporting,

§ Sales and Budget Forecasting Databases, etc.

o Working knowledge of:

§ SQL database including table/view design, SQL Query language, and stored procedures.

§ SSIS packages (developed with Visual Studio) and deployed with SQL Server Agent

§ Data import/export processes for various sources (SQL, FTP, MS Access, Excel)

o Integration with MS Office (PowerBI/Excel/Access). Crystal Reports a plus.

· Power BI (a plus)

o Develops and deploys PBI reports using graphs, tables, matrices, filters, slicers, etc. based on data retrieved from the various company databases and data sources (direct and import query). Experience with DAX a plus.

o Publishes and emails subscription reports.

· Desktop Support

o Supports Windows/MAC operating systems.

o Setup/configure computers for new users.

o Maintains print queues for the various network printers.

o Uses Barracuda RMM to remotely support user needs and computer patches.

· Data backup

o Responsible for data backup of all company data systems including servers, computers, email, SharePoint, network files, databases, etc.

· Project Management

o Manages and coordinates both internal and external resources to execute IT initiatives to support the needs of the company.

o Negotiates and manages external contracts and agreements.

COMPETENCIES: (Qualifications, skills, experience)

Education: BS or MS in engineering or computer science

Experience: 5+ years – preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment (Medical Devices)

Successful cross-functional team leadership

Job Type: Full-time at Easton, Pennsylvania location

Salary: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
