Job description
The ERM Operations Control is a key member of the ERM Ops Control team who actively contributes to the second line of defense through conducting research, reviewing diversified operational processes and reporting conclusions. The ERM Operations Control I will be responsible for conducting targeted reviews that align with organizational objectives, identifying issues and making recommendations to minimize risk exposure or loss. May assist with execution and documentation of testing programs related to perceived areas of risks. Provides valuable input and recommendation of policy, procedures or control development in collaboration with department supervision.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITES
- Assist in the administration of the Product/Service Change Control (PSCC) program and process.
- Execute approved methods to ensure policy, procedures and controls are appropriately designed and/or executed to achieve organizational goals and properly mitigate risk. Maintain a healthy skepticism regarding adherence to policies and to whether or not those policies are adequate to mitigate the associated risk.
- Maintain adequate documentation and support of testing and review activities. Ensure written documents are accurate, concise, formatted professionally, and grammatically correct. Communicate observations, risks, and recommendations clearly and effectively both in meetings and on paper.
- Assist with the evaluation of new, modified, or existing processes or activities to provide an assessment of related risks and controls, consulting with subject matter experts, performing research, and applying acceptable methods for review/testing, as appropriate. Prepare formal reports to document objectives, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Assist with special projects, including but not limited to, developing risk management policies or programs, responding to regulatory exams, assisting business units with implementation of quality control procedures, etc.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or relevant work experience.
- A minimum of six months applicable work experience in audit, risk management, compliance, or role requiring similar knowledge and expertise.
- The successful candidate will have:

Working Conditions
Limited travel in state and occasional out of state travel may be required.
Experience

Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field
